Open Position: Senior Associate, Onboarding 

Job Description:  

The Onboarding team works directly with external clients and consultants, as well as with internal counterparts across the firm, throughout the new account onboarding, amendments to existing accounts, and closed account processes. The Senior Associate, Onboarding serves as a subject matter expert on all facets of the account onboarding process and plays an important role as a facilitator for a function that requires input from multiple internal teams. 
 
Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate directly with client, consultant, and bank contacts to facilitate the onboarding of new accounts, account closures, and amendments  

  • Compile subscription and onboarding documentation and provide instructions to clients and consultants for completion 

  • Assist with custodian account openings as needed, working with Legal and Operations to complete required documentation  

  • Track and review onboarding/account maintenance documentation – ensuring all required documents are received and have been properly completed; engage with internal partners and clients directly when clarification is required  

  • Properly escalate issues to internal stakeholders with a solutions-oriented approach  

  • Partner with Client Portfolio Managers and Client Portfolio Analysts in providing a seamless client service experience  

  • Understand how processes and systems interact and affect other areas of the firm – demonstrate an ability to anticipate downstream impacts

  • Participate in ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing our overall processes  

  • Respond to ad hoc questions and requests allowing for inter/intra-team collaboration  

  • Take initiative to share information, assist teammates, and provide coverage when needed 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience is required

  • Experience working with asset management legal documents (e.g., Investment Management Agreements, Fund Subscription Agreements, etc.) and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Client testing procedures a plus  

  • Experience working with DocuSign a plus 

Education Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s degree

In addition to the opportunity to participate in a discretionary bonus program, the salary range below describes the estimated minimum to maximum base salary range for a position of this level. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate and may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience, licensure requirements, certifications, skill set, and other business and organizational needs.   

Base Salary Range: 
$80,000- 100,000
This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus
