Job Description:
The Investor Services Cash Flows Team is a group within the Client Service Department. The team works directly with external clients and consultants, as well as with internal counterparts across the firm, to ensure accurate processing of client cash flow activity. We are seeking an experienced individual with strong leadership abilities to join the Cash Flows team. This individual will serve as an escalation point and as a subject matter expert on all facets of the cash flow process, playing a critical decision-making role in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Key contributor across team functions (see below), assist with questions, and act as escalation point. This role will balance execution of day-to-day team responsibilities while leading process improvements and serving as the point person for complex team issues:
- Communicate directly with clients, consultants, and bank contacts to facilitate cash flow activity
- Coordinate the timely and accurate review and processing of all client cashflows
- Enforce proper adherence to policies ensuring our client’s cashflow activity is verified
- Maintain client accounts in CRM system, including maintenance of authorized individuals for cashflow instructions and outgoing wire instructions for private fund investors
- Ensure proper execution of a variety of fund administration tasks, including but not limited to, daily fund governance, subscription, and redemption orders
- Lead the implementation of new processes and responsibilities within the team to ensure proper controls and procedures are in place
- Understand how processes and systems interact and affect other areas of the firm – demonstrate an ability to anticipate downstream impacts
- Collaborate with Operations Department and Investment Team to ensure accurate processing throughout the lifecycle of each cashflow
- Promote and participate in ad hoc projects and process improvement activities for the team to streamline processes and increase efficiency
- Partner with Client Portfolio Managers and Client Portfolio Analysts to provide a seamless client service experience
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of related industry experience
- Ability to effectively balance providing excellent client service for our external partners while ensuring appropriate process is followed for internal risk mitigation
- Demonstrates a “no task is too small” mindset and is comfortable diving into the details partnering with direct reports when needed
- Proven ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment; consistently demonstrates good judgment in decision-making and excellent problem-solving skills
- Comfortable operating in situations that do not fall within black-and-white process; demonstrated adaptability and flexibility when dealing with shifting priorities and responsibilities
- Demonstrates effective collaboration with multiple internal teams; understands colleagues’ perspectives and consistently displays willingness to adapt team processes to better align with internal partners’ needs
- Ability to promptly gather impacted parties, achieve buy-in on next steps, and independently lead issue resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of representing the team with both internal and external partners
- Communicates effectively and exhibits professional polish when coordinating with external parties
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing personal growth and development
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Management and oversight of direct reports to ensure open lines of communication, alignment of expectations, and that timely feedback is provided
- Ability to develop and motivate staff, and help position them for long-term success

In addition to the opportunity to participate in a discretionary bonus program, the salary range below describes the estimated minimum to maximum base salary range for a position of this level. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each candidate and may vary based upon but not limited to relevant experience, licensure requirements, certifications, skill set, and other business and organizational needs.
Base Salary Range:
$90,000-130,000
This role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus
